About Model Releases

A model release is required in many countries if you want to use recongnisable images of people. We recommend uploading a model release if possible whenever you upload a recognisable human face. This will increase the number of designers who can make use of your image.

If you already have a standard model release please upload a completed, scanned copy of the release whenever your uploading images covered by that release.

If you don't already have a model release, there are many available for download online or you can use ours. Download our PDF model release.

The legal issues surrounding model releases are complex and vary by jurisdiction. Photographers working in areas of concern should consult specialized references or professionals to better understand their rights and responsibilities.
